Our Little Princess

Here are some pictures of Carly in her dress up clothes. She never wants to put this stuff on, but decided today was the day. And when she makes up her mind (like her Mother) that's it. She went on a bike ride as soon as she had on all of her duds. We are so lucky to have such a fun loving little girl! She is our little blessing and keeps us going.

Depot Bay, OR March 2007

We went to the beach this weekend to have some fun. We went with Papa and Grandma Jean! We played on the beach, swam/relaxed in the hottub, played games, colored, shopped, tried to move boulders to make Carly laugh, and just had a good time. Papa and Grandma found a beach house that had lots of room and was very confortable for everyone.

Happy Birthday, Mark!!

Today, March 8, Mark turned 31. (And, yes, he is going to kill me for publishing his true age as I am only 29.) Hee-hee. We all know he's still 18 at heart. As you can tell from the pictures, Mark had a lot of help opening presents. Carly was so excited for Daddy to open his presents that right when he walked in the door from work, she started handing him all the boxes to open. She never once hinted at what was inside or spoiled the surprise, but continued to 'help' daddy. Carly also made daddy cupcakes and cookies, and they both had to blow out the candles. Happy Birthday, Mark!

Carly's First Swim Lessons

Carly loves the water! She went under the water for the first time, and didn't spit and sputter. Mark is all smiles, too, as he has been wanting to take Carly to swim lessons since she was born.
